Living Waters Lutheran Church

Sharing the Grace of Christ
Living Waters Lutheran Church is committed to welcoming and equipping all who seek to discover and express God’s love. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we are active online and are planning in-person activities in line with public-health guidelines. For daily updates and spiritual uplift, find us on Facebook!

#LivingWatersLive
In-person activities at Living Waters remain limited until further notice, but we are very much open online, in prayer, and in service. We are providing many ways to be church from our homes and online. Click here for updates and details, including information about the congregational council's planning for physical reopening.

To keep our community safe, we ask that everyone attending Living Waters in-person events wear a mask, refrain from hugs and handshakes, observe a 6-foot social distance, and complete a health checklist that will be provided.

View our services, prayers, Bible studies, and other videos on our YouTube page.

Love Your Neighbor and Help Beat COVID
As we eagerly wait and pray for the easing of COVID and the return of in-person gatherings, most of us can help bring those days closer by getting a vaccine as it becomes available.

McHenry County is gathering information in preparation for Phases 1B and 1C of the rollout, which include adults 65+ and in certain occupational and high-risk health groups. To see lists of who is eligible for each phase and register to receive instructions when the vaccine becomes available for your group, click here.

If you live in another county, please check with your county's health department or your employer to find out about procedures that may apply to you.

Important Meetings for Living Waters Members
11 AM, Sunday, January 24: Budget review meeting
11 AM, Sunday, January 31: Annual meeting of the congregation

Both meetings will be held on Zoom; links will go out via Realm notifications. If you are unfamiliar with using Zoom, please reach out to Lee or Pastor Zach for assistance.

On a future date, we will have an extra session with guest presenters from the European Descent Lutheran Association for Racial Justice. To participate in the meetings, look for the link in Realm, or contact pastor or the church office for an invitation.

We also have a members-only group sharing thoughts on Facebook. To join the Facebook group, visit the Facebook group page and click the Join button.
